Stuart Jamieson, born on October 22, 1951, in Saint John, New Brunswick, is a Canadian politician who served in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick. A self-employed carpenter, he was first elected in 1987 and had several re-elections, totaling four terms. He represented the Saint John-Fundy district and was part of the cabinet from 1998 to 1999 and again from 2006 to 2010. His political career faced a setback when he was defeated in 1999, but he returned to service until 2010, when he was removed from the cabinet for his controversial suggestion regarding a referendum on the NB Power deal.
