Sturgis Nikides (March 9, 1958 – April 9, 2024) was an American guitarist and singer. He played in several lesser-known bands in the 1970s. In 1979, he joined the backing band of musician John Cale, recording one album with him. After leaving in 1981, he focused less on music. In 2004, he released a solo album, and from 2011 to 2017, he produced three albums with the band Low Society, formed with his wife Mandy.
