Subhas Naskar is an Indian politician associated with the Revolutionary Socialist Party. He served as the Minister of Water Resources in the Left Front government of West Bengal. Naskar has won the Basanti assembly constituency elections in 1982, 1987, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, and 2011. After the 2011 assembly elections, he was elected as the Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. In 2008, during the panchayat elections, his ancestral home in Basanti was attacked, resulting in serious injuries to his niece's wife.
