He has served as the treasurer of the Bengal Literary Society for many years and currently heads its library division. Choudhury has published 15 poetry collections, over 14 edited essay collections, and around 20 original essays. He is also known for his significant contributions to various magazines, including Anandabazar Patrika. He has received numerous awards for his literary work.
