Sukh Dev FNAA, FASc (born 1923) is an Indian organic chemist, academic, researcher, and author known for his development and contributions to guggulsterone, a steroid herbal and nutritional agent derived from plants. He has conducted advanced research in biomedical sciences and natural product chemistry, holding 55 patents for his discoveries. An awardee of the prestigious Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize, India's highest science and technology award, he was honored with the Padma Bhushan, the country's third-highest civilian award, by the Government of India in 2008 for his contributions to science and technology.
