Sula Bassana, born Dave Schmidt on January 27, 1968, in Berlin, is a German multi-instrumentalist active in the space-psychedelic scene. His music spans various genres including experimental, progressive, psychedelic, space, jam, krautrock, acid, neo- and post-rock, and electronic sounds. In 2006, he founded his own label, Sulatron Records, and has released over 100 albums.
