Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi is a Nigerian politician born on July 17, 1959. He served as the senator for Kaduna North Senatorial District after winning the election in the 2015 Nigerian general elections. Prior to his senatorial role, he was the chairman of the Kudan local government area in Kaduna state. Hunkuyi is known for criticizing the current governor of Kaduna state, Malam Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai, claiming that he has not treated the people of the state fairly and expressing intention to oppose him in the 2019 elections.
