Summer Mortimer is a former Canadian-Dutch paraswimmer who achieved significant success representing Canada and later the Netherlands. Born on April 22, 1993, she won seven world championship titles and earned four medals at the 2012 Paralympic Games. After a trampoline accident, she retrained as a paraswimmer and set multiple world records in her classification, including S10. Mortimer transitioned to the Netherlands national team in 2014 and later became a sports analyst for swimming events on CBC during the 2020 Olympics and Paralympics.
