Born on March 12, 1939, in Ghana, he completed his education at Baptist Boy's High School before joining the military. His extensive training included institutions in England and Nigeria. Known for addressing waste management in Imo State, he was described as vigorous and visionary. He passed away from a heart attack in the United States on November 25, 2008.
