Sung Jung-a is a former South Korean basketball player born on December 25, 1965. She achieved prominence by winning a silver medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in women's basketball. Additionally, Sung was part of the South Korean junior national team that secured a silver medal at the inaugural FIBA Under-19 World Championship for Women in 1985. She also participated in the 1988 Summer Olympics, where her team finished in 7th place with a record of 2 wins and 3 losses.
