Susanto Pudjomartono was an Indonesian journalist, editor, and diplomat. He served as the second editor-in-chief of the Jakarta Post from 1991 to 2003 before being appointed as Indonesia's ambassador to Russia, a position he held from 2003 to 2008. Pudjomartono graduated from Gadjah Mada University in 1966 and began his career at the magazine Tempo. He was a notable figure in the Indonesian press, co-founding the Editors Club in Indonesia, and he passed away at the age of 71 due to complications from diabetes.
