Sushil Chandra Varma (1926-2011) was an Indian politician known for his four terms in the Lok Sabha representing Bhopal. He was educated at the Universities of Bhopal and Allahabad, earning an MSc in Chemistry and a PhD in Sociology. Varma joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1949 and served in various capacities. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he was elected in 1991 and participated in multiple parliamentary committees. He faced health issues later in life and tragically took his own life in 2011.
