Sushil Kalra was an Indian cartoonist and artist born on June 13, 1940, in Gujranwala, Pakistan. He became popular as an ad man and began creating cartoons in 1968. His work appeared in many publications, including Hindustan Times and Nandan magazine. He was noted for his comic strip 'Cheetu-Neetu,' which he created for 44 years. After retiring, he moved to the USA, where he supported aspiring artists. Diagnosed with cancer in 2011, he continued his creative endeavors until his death on September 8, 2013.
