Sven Alexander Hillring (1912-1994) was a Swedish accordion maker. He started his career in 1926 at AB Albin Hagström, where he learned to build accordions. He created the first accordion named Hagström in collaboration with Gunnar Orre. Hillring was sent to Copenhagen to establish an accordion factory and later to the USA to set up production in Jamestown, New York. After the factory closed in 1949, he returned to Älvdalen to craft high-quality accordions before moving back to Jamestown to continue his work independently.
