Sven Göran Holmström was a Swedish sculptor, draftsman, mosaic and textile artist, born on December 25, 1924, in Bromma. He was the only male student studying textiles at Konstfackskolan in Stockholm from 1943 to 1950. He participated in several exhibitions at the National Museum and showcased his work at Galerie Moderne in 1955. Initially focused on textile art and drawing, he later transitioned to mosaics and eventually to welded steel and iron sculptures. His public works include concrete reliefs at the entrance of the Hässelby civic center. Holmström is represented in several museums including Moderna Museet.
