Svend Gunnar Kofoed-Dam was a Danish politician associated with the Venstre party. Born on January 28, 1933, in Ibsker, he served as the mayor of Neksø Municipality from 1990 to 1993. Kofoed-Dam joined the municipal council in 1970 and became the leading candidate for Venstre two decades later, succeeding the long-standing mayor Preben Holm Jensen. He led a single term as mayor but lost re-election in 1993. Additionally, he was a member of Bornholm's county council and the Venstre party's executive board, resigning in 2009 after 55 years due to perceived centralism within the party.
