Svetoslav Boykikev was a Bulgarian otorhinolaryngologist and professor born in 1901 in Plovdiv. He graduated from the Medical Faculty in Sofia in 1926 and specialized in Germany in 1936. He served as a municipal doctor and later became an associate professor, then a professor at Sofia University, pioneering oncology in otorhinolaryngology. Boykikev published numerous scientific works, received various awards, including the Czechoslovak Order of the White Lion, and contributed significantly to medical education and practice until his death in 1985.
