Swami Vidya Prakashananda Giri, born Ananda Mohan on April 13, 1914, was an influential Indian spiritual Guru from Andhra Pradesh until his passing on April 10, 1998. He was a disciple of Malayala Swamy and founded Sri Sukabrahmashram in Srikalahasti. Giri is renowned for his commentary on the Bhagavad Gita, titled Geetha Makarandam, which is considered a significant contribution to spiritual literature.
