Syed Murtaza Dadahi was a prominent Sindhi language poet born on November 26, 1939. He published eight poetry books and gained recognition for his unique poetic style, which provided solace to many. His works were widely celebrated and performed by famous folk singers, including Abida Parveen. Dadahi was also an advocate for Sindhi literature and founded various literary organizations. His poetry was featured in Sindhi newspapers and magazines during the 1960s and 1970s. He passed away on February 15, 2021.
