Szczepan Rembowski was a Polish priest born on December 9, 1905, in Łódź, and passed away on September 20, 1972. He served as the parish priest of Matka Boża Dobra Rada in Zgierz twice. Initially ordained as a subdeacon and deacon in 1932, he served as a chaplain during the defense of Poland in 1939. After the war, he worked to establish a new parish in Zgierz, which was formally created in 1948. He faced imprisonment in 1952 but returned to Zgierz in 1957 and oversaw the construction of a church in 1961.
