Szymon Chodyniecki, known as South Blunt System, is a Polish vocalist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music producer. He began his musical career in 2006 with the band Immortal Midnight, which he founded with a school friend. In 2009, he co-founded the band South Blunt System (SBS). The group's debut album, titled I'm Seeing, was released in 2013 by the record label Urban Rec. In the meantime, the group disbanded, and Chodyniecki began his solo career under the pseudonym South Blunt System. The singer's debut solo album, Potęga w czynie, was released on March 25, 2014, by the record label My Music. A year later, the musician abandoned the pseudonym and signed with Sony Music Entertainment Poland.
