Thambiah Ahambaram, also known as T. Ahambaram, was a Ceylon Tamil politician and Member of Parliament. Born on 12 October 1913, he represented the Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (Federal Party) in the March 1960 parliamentary election for Mutur, winning and becoming its first MP. He was re-elected in July 1960 but tragically died in office during a Satyagraha protest due to police violence.
