Tadao Kashio (December 26, 1917 – March 4, 1993) was a Japanese entrepreneur and founder of Casio Computer. Born in Kureta-mura, Kochi, Japan, he and his family moved to Tokyo in 1923 after the Great Kanto earthquake. After studying at Waseda Koshu Gako, he established his own company, Casio Seisakusho, in Mitaka, Tokyo in 1946. Kashio's contributions significantly impacted the electronics industry, particularly in calculator and watch manufacturing.
