Tadeusz Borutka is a Polish Catholic priest born on January 22, 1953, in Bielsko-Biała. He serves in the Diocese of Bielsko-Żywiec and is a professor of theological sciences specializing in Catholic social teaching. From 1994 to 2016, he was the director of the now-defunct Saint John Kanty Theological Institute in Bielsko-Biała, affiliated with John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, and supervised practical theology specialization. He has taught courses on Catholic social teaching and the life and thought of John Paul II at the same university. Additionally, he was a former rector of the diocesan seminary in Sosnowiec, Kraków.
