Tage Eriksson was a Swedish artist born on December 8, 1916, in Västerås and passed away on March 3, 2003, in Gothenburg. He studied at the Slöjdföreningens school in Gothenburg and specialized in marine painting under Lee Reynold. Eriksson traveled for his studies to Italy, France, and England. Notably, he was one of the initiators of establishing the ABC school of drawing and painting in Gothenburg. He is also the father of fellow artist Ulf Eriksson.
