Taghreed Najjar, born on September 28, 1951, in Amman, is a prominent figure in modern children's literature in Jordan. She graduated from the American University of Beirut with a Bachelor's in English Language and a diploma in Education and Psychology in 1973. Najjar published her first book, "Safwan the Clown," in 1978, followed by several more works that enriched the Arab children's library. In addition to her writing, she has experience in education and managed the publishing department at Al-Haya Cultural Center before founding Dar Al-Salwa for Studies and Publishing in 1996.
