Seyed Taher Taheri, born in 1951 in Semnan, is a former governor of Alborz province and the third governor after Isa Farhadi and Ali-Asghar Arbian. He holds a master's degree in industrial management. He previously served as the CEO of Iran Khodro Investment Development Company and has managerial experience in various industrial companies. His roles included deputy for legal affairs, parliamentary and provincial affairs, and he was a representative for Semnan County in the fifth and sixth terms of the Iranian parliament.
