Tahereh Saffarzadeh (1936-2008) was an Iranian writer, translator, and poet known for her pioneering bilingual translation of the Quran into Persian and English, the first of its kind. Her literary contributions also include various poetry collections such as 'Rahkadr Mahtab', 'Jatr Serkh', 'Tanin dar Delta', 'Sad Bazavan', 'Harakat va Dirooz', 'Biyat Babidari', and 'Didar Sobh', as well as a short story collection titled 'Beyondha-ye Talkh'. Saffarzadeh's work significantly influenced Persian literature and translation studies.
