Takako Akasaka, born on February 24, 1955, in Osaka, Japan, is a highly successful competitive eater known for her remarkable achievements in Japan's competitive eating scene. Nicknamed 'Armageddon' and 'The Sweet Queen', she specializes in sweet foods and gained fame for winning the TV Champion's eating contest in 1994. She was the first person to consume two #13 sandwiches at Carnegie Deli and has set records, including 90 ostrich egg omelettes eaten in Australia. Akasaka also made history in the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest by being the first woman to eat over 20 hot dogs in 12 minutes.
