Takao Kuramochi (born January 2, 1941) is a former announcer for Nippon Television in Japan. Born in Mitaka, Tokyo, he graduated from Waseda University and joined Nippon Television in 1964. Notably, he served as a commentator for All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he became famous for his spirited commentary. Kuramochi covered many historic wrestling matches over 18 years, creating a unique style that resonated with fans. After retiring in 2001, he continued to express admiration for pro wrestler Antonio Inoki and later moved back to Japan after living in Spain.
