Takashi Muramatsu (May 22, 1917 - November 15, 1982) was a Japanese journalist, writer, and education critic. Born in Shizuoka Prefecture, he was the son of writer Sohei Muramatsu. He graduated from Waseda University and worked at Mainichi Shimbun, where he covered shogi and go. He authored several notable works and was a professor at Tokai University and Ashiya University. He received multiple nominations and awards throughout his career, including the Naoki Prize and the Kikuchi Kan Prize.
