Takeo Miyata (born February 5, 1968) is a Japanese dancer, choreographer, and dance researcher from Tokyo. He graduated from Saitama University with a degree in education. Miyata is the leader of 'THE SPARTANIC ROCKERS', the first Japanese team to win the Breakdance World Championship. He represents Studio Face and serves as a director at the Japanese Street Dance Education Research Institute. Additionally, he teaches at Japan Arts College and is involved with the rules promotion committee of the Japan Rhythm Dance Federation.
