Takerō Oiji (March 21, 1926 - July 14, 1980) was a Japanese scholar of medieval English literature. Born in Hiroshima, he was the son of Lieutenant Colonel Takezō Oiji. He graduated from Tohoku University's Faculty of Literature in 1951 and held positions as a lecturer at Yamagata University, an associate professor at Tohoku University, and a professor at Sophia University. He received the Japanese Translation Culture Award in 1974 for his work 'The Farmer's Dream as Seen by Williams.'
