Talwinder Singh Parmar (1944–1992) was a Sikh militant known for masterminding the 1985 Air India Flight 182 bombing, resulting in 329 fatalities, the deadliest act of aviation terrorism until September 11, 2001. He co-founded Babbar Khalsa International, a group advocating for Khalistan independence. Involved in violent acts, he was accused of killing police officers in India. After a period in Germany, he returned to Canada, only to have his life end in a confrontation with police in India.
