Tamotsu Miyahira is a Chinese martial artist born on March 25, 1964, in Urasoe, Okinawa. He is the director of Tianxingjian Martial Arts School and was the first foreigner to graduate from a Chinese sports academy's martial arts program. He studied martial arts in Wuhan, Hubei province, for five years and presented a paper on the origins of Chinese martial arts and Japanese martial arts at the 11th Asian Games Scientific Congress in 1990.
