Tanju Duru was a Turkish musician, guitarist, and composer, known for his contributions to music during the 1980s and 1990s. He was part of the group Ezginin Günlüğü, and his compositions featured in albums from 1984 to 1990. In 1999, he established Duru Kayıt studio and collaborated with various artists. Duru was also known for his love for nature and cycling. Tragically, he died on October 1, 2008, after falling while descending Demirkazık Mountain, becoming the 14th person to die on that mountain.
