Tara Faris Shimon Asha (January 10, 1996 - September 27, 2018) was an Iraqi model, fashionista, and social media personality. She gained fame on social media after being chosen as the runner-up for Miss Iraq in 2014, well-known for her bold clothing style. Tragically, she was murdered on Thursday, September 27, 2018, in the Kamb Sara area of Baghdad. Iraqi health ministry spokespeople announced her death following gunshot wounds to her head and chest.
