Tarek Youzbachi is a German journalist and television presenter born on February 16, 1971, in Hannover. He completed his Abitur in 1990 and served in civilian service. He studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg from 1992 to 1996. Youzbachi has been a news anchor at NDR since 1998 and has worked in various roles within the organization. He became a speaker for the ARD news program Tagesschau in 2004. He has also contributed to radio productions and was awarded the Deutscher Hörfilmpreis in 2016 for his work.
