Tarō Bonten (born January 5, 1929 - died June 30, 2008) was a Japanese tattoo artist, painter, graphic novelist, designer, and manga artist. He was known for his works in various art forms, and sometimes used the pen name Kiyomi Ishii when creating shoujo manga. During his career as a tattoo artist, he also went by the name Hori Kiyo. His real name was Kiyomi Tanaka.
