After graduating from Kyobashi Commercial School, he worked at Rikaden Spring K.K. and later at Fukushin Electric, where he wrote scripts for dramas and broadcasts. He gained recognition for his literary works, including the award-winning piece '悪魔の掌の上で' ('On the Palm of the Devil'). Kinoshita wrote detective novels and salaryman literature, becoming a notable figure in Japanese literature before passing away on December 7, 2000.
