Tatsuya Okamura is a Japanese psychologist and professor at Bunkyo University, specializing in clinical psychology. Born on October 23, 1954, in Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture, he graduated from the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Arts in 1978 and continued his studies in educational psychology. Although he left the doctoral program at the University of Tokyo in 1985, he has held various academic positions, including assistant professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University and lecturer at Senshu University, before becoming a professor at Bunkyo University in 1998.
