Tayseer Jabari (Abu Mahmoud; January 18, 1972 – August 5, 2022) was a Palestinian military leader known as the second-in-command of the al-Quds Brigades. He served as the commander for the Gaza Strip and northern Gaza since November 17, 2019, until his assassination. Jabari succeeded Baha Abu al-Ata, who was killed by Israel on November 12, 2019. His leadership role within the military wing of Islamic Jihad in Palestine established him as a significant figure in the region during a period of ongoing conflict.
