Ted Fordham, born on May 3, 1940, is a former Australian rules footballer known for his time with Essendon in the Victorian Football League. He debuted in 1961, playing primarily as a half-back flanker before transitioning to full-forward in 1964 under coach John Coleman. Fordham was notably the VFL's leading goalkicker in 1966 and played a crucial role in Essendon's premiership victory in 1965 by scoring six goals in the preliminary final and matching a record with seven goals in the grand final against St Kilda.
