Edward Rosser Gorin was a Welsh professional footballer born on March 2, 1924. He played as a forward, starting his professional career with Cardiff City after being noticed in amateur football. Gorin made his debut in 1948 and later transferred to Scunthorpe United, where he scored the club's first goal in the Football League. He concluded his playing career at Shrewsbury Town at the age of 27, on May 30, 2013. His contributions to Welsh football are remembered fondly.
