Tegwen Matthews, born on October 2, 1955, is a notable Welsh amateur golfer who made history by being the first Welsh woman to participate in the Curtis Cup matches. She played in four consecutive matches from 1974 to 1980. Previously known as Tegwen Perkins, she was also known by her married name, Tegwen Thomas, during her marriage from 1979 to 1987.
