Brigadier General Terence John Hildner (February 20, 1962 – February 3, 2012) was a United States Army officer who served as the commander of the 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) from 2010 until his death in 2012. He was the second highest-ranking American officer to die while serving in the Afghanistan War. Hildner led the 2nd Cavalry Regiment and deployed troops to Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. He also oversaw operations in Iraq and humanitarian assistance during Hurricane Katrina. Hildner passed away in Kabul, Afghanistan, during active service.
