Teresa Mattei (February 1, 1921 – ) was an Italian politician affiliated with the Communist Party. She graduated from the University of Florence in 1944. Mattei was involved in the participation of the murder of the fascist philosopher Giovanni Gentile, a proponent of neo-Hegelianism and known as the 'philosopher of fascism.' He was associated with Benito Mussolini's ideology and authored 'The Doctrine of Fascism' in 1932. Mattei's political activities reflect her commitment to anti-fascist ideologies amidst a tumultuous period in Italian history.
