Tero Markus Nykänen is a Finnish martial artist and coach born on November 10, 1981. He has been a coach at his home club, Järvenpään Taekwondo Hwang ry, since 1997 and has served as the club's managing director since 2003. Nykänen competed at the national level in taekwondo, kickboxing, boxing, Sin Moo Hapkido, and Hoi Jeon Moo Sool from 1996 to 2001. He retired from competition in 2001 and transitioned to coaching.
