Terry W. Gipson is an American politician born on April 2, 1963. He served as a Democratic member of the New York Senate from January 1, 2013, to December 31, 2014, representing the 41st District which includes most of Dutchess and Putnam Counties. In 2017, Gipson launched a campaign for Governor of New York against incumbent Democrat Andrew Cuomo, but he withdrew from the race in 2018.
