He gained fame with his hit song 'Seasons in the Sun' in 1974, originally intended for the Beach Boys but not accepted by them. It became the best-selling international single by a Canadian artist at the time, selling 14 million copies worldwide. Jacks has released a double album titled 'Starfish On the Beach' which features 40 songs from his musical career, along with a 32-page booklet of memories and photographs.
